The book I am Malala, describes the life and undertakings of Malala, the girl who was shot by the Taliban. Though an ordinary girl deep love for knowledge and for her nation has led her to take courageous stands for the educations of herself and numerous girls along with her from the Talibanised Swat. The book comes forth as an autobiography, though it is clear that she has been helped to write it.
The book not only brings forth the story of a girl called Malala rather it discusses the life struggle of every woman who is denied of education, especially the poor Muslim women all over the world who are framed in the tradition and patriarchal hierarchy.
The book also discusses the political history of Pakistan which makes at time quite dragging, but for those who will be interested in the political history it will be a great help. However, most often I felt the explanation quite biased since it is form a single point of view
