Lord, You are my Protector

Est. c: 12, 14-16, 23-25

Dear Lord, I have no Protector other than you!!!

Queen Esther lays prostrate upon the ground, seized with the mortal anguish asking for the help of the Lord, crying God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob, blessed are you. Help me who alone and have no help but you. A total surrender of one’s will and desire out of complete helplessness.

Jesus in the gospel says everyone who asks, receives. She did ask the Lord and she received his help for her plea for Israel.

How do we ask the Lord? What do we ask the Lord? What is that controls our prayer, our selfish needs or the helplessness of the other?
