Joy of Repentance

Sir 47: 2-11

With his every deed David offered thanks to God Most High, in words of praise he loved his maker.

The king of Israel, chosen by the Lord from the lowest of the tribes and weakest of the people has gone from the presence of the Lord many times. He forgot from where he was called by the Lord to be the King. But with his attitude of repentance he has come back to the Lord, whenever he has realized his mistake. The joy of repentance in Heaven is greater and more valuable. When one is ready to repent knowing the mistakes shows his readiness to be close to God. Are we ready to repent? Or we are waiting for the last moment to change the way of living!!! which we ourselves are not certain.
